Saskatoon Berry Liqueur

6-7 cups saskatoon berries

26 oz Vodka

1 cup sugar

 

1. Mix vodka and sugar together

2. Add Saskatoon berries

3. Store in a container on the kitchen counter

4. Invert daily to dissolve sugar and to agitate berries and vodka

5. You can do taste tests but it would be best to let sit for 4 1/2 weeks in a cool place

6. Strain out berries and bottle liqueur + use berries on ice cream or muffins etc

I left my berries in the jar for one year in the fridge before straining out the berries. It was really smooth! My friends ate all the berries.....
