large unbaked 2 crust pastry

cups saskatoons


3/4

cup white sugar


1/4

cup minit tapioca


1

teaspoon lemon juice

 

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

2. Line a 9" pie plate with pastry.

3. Combine sugar and tapioca, then blend with the saskatoons.

4. Pour into the pie shell and sprinkle with lemon juice.

5. Top with pastry in plain or lattice top. Brush pastry with egg or milk.

6. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes then reduce the heat to 350° and continue baking for 45 to 50 minutes until pie bubbles and is golden brown.
