Saskatoon Leather

 

 

 

4 1/2	cups saskatoons, mashed
2	cups applesauce
1	tablespoon lemon juice

 

Instructions

1. Place berries in a pot, add applesauce and lemon juice.

2. Heat and boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

3. Remove from heat and blend for 2 minutes on low speed.

4. Pour onto tray in dehydrator and follow manufacturer's instructions.

Takes about 7 - 9 hours at 57° C
