cup cranberries, dried

cup mixed candied fruit peel

cup brown sugar, firmly packed

cup butter

teaspoon grated lemon rind

tablespoons brandy

tablespoon lemon juice

teaspoon cinnamon

teaspoon cloves

1/2

teaspoon ginger

1/2

teaspoon nutmeg

cup grape juice

cups saskatoons

 

Instructions

1. Combine first 14 ingredients in a large pot.

2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, simmer uncovered until thick.

3. Add saskatoons and stir well.

4. Spoon into sterilized jars and refrigerate or for longer storage freeze.
