cup jerky, beef or venison


1

cup saskatoons, dried


1

cup sunflower seed, untoasted


2

teaspoons honey


1/4

cup peanut butter


1/2

teaspoon cayenne pepper

 


Instructions


1. Grind the meat to a mealy powder.


2. Add the dried berries, sunflower seeds or crushed nuts of any kind.


3. Heat the honey , peanut butter, and cayenne pepper until softened.


4. Blend with the berry mixture.


5. Pat into a parchment lined pan and let cool. Then cut into strips and store in a plastic bag in a cool place.

 


Will keep for months.
