Saskatoon Sauce

cups saskatoons


1

cup water


2

tablespoons cornstarch


3/4

cup white sugar


1

lemon, freshly squeezed

 

Instructions

1. Place saskatoons in a saucepan with water and bring to a boil.

2. Simmer for 5 minutes.

3. Blend cornstarch and sugar, slowly add to saskatoons and boil until thick and clear.

4. Add lemon juice and cool.

 

Yield: 2 1/3 cups
