cup white sugar

cup butter

large egg

teaspoon vanilla

cup flour

teaspoon baking powder

teaspoon salt

cup milk

cups saskatoons


1/3

cup brown sugar


1/4

cup flour


1/2

teaspoon cinnamon

tablespoons butter

 

Instructions

1. In a small bowl mix last four ingredients: 1/3c brown sugar, 1/4c flour, 1/2tsp cinnamon, 2TBSP butter, until crumbly. Set aside for topping.

2. Cream butter with white sugar, beat in egg and vanilla.

3. Sift together dry ingredients.

4. Stir 1/2 flour mixture into butter and egg mixture.

5. Blend in milk then the remaining flour mixture.

6. Spread in a greased 9X9" pan.

7. Top with 3 cups of saskatoon berries.

8. Sprinkle with the topping that you had set aside.

9. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
