Aunt Margarets's Fruit Cobbler



Preheat oven to 375F

4 cups Blueberries, Saskatoons or Rhubarb, cut into 1/2" pieces
3/4 - 1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups flour
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk



Combine fruit and sugar and place in a shallow, greased 8 x 11" casserole.

To make batter, combine flour, sugar & baking powder, then cut in better. Combine beaten egg & milk and add to dry ingredients. Stir with a fork to make a stiff batter. Drop batter by spoonfulls on top of fruit.

Bake 32 - 35 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
