Layered Fruit Salad

cups peaches, sliced

cups saskatoons


2

cups strawberries, sliced


2

cups green grapes


1

package cream cheese

tablespoons lemon juice


1

teaspoon lemon zest


1

cup whipping cream


1/4

cup icing sugar


1/2

cup pecans or walnuts, chopped

 

Instructions

1. In a large glass bowl layer fruit in order given.

2. In a separate bowl beat cream cheese, lemon juice and rind.

3. In another bowl whip cream just until peaks form, add sugar and whip to stiff peaks.

4. Fold cream cheese mixture and the whipped cream together.

5. Spread over fruit;  sealing fruit by making sure topping is right up to sides of the bowl.

6. Sprinkle top with walnuts or pecans and a few saskatoons.

 

Serve immediately or store in refrigerator.
