Peach And Saskatoon Pie

large peaches, peeled & chopped

1 1/2

tablespoons minit tapioca

1

pinch nutmeg

1

large egg

2

cups saskatoons

1/2

cup white sugar

1

unbaked 2 crust pastry

 

Instructions


1. Preheat oven to 425°F.


2. Combine peaches and saskatoons together in a bowl with tapioca, sugar and nutmeg.


3. Beat egg and stir into fruit.


4. Pour into unbaked pastry shell, cut upper crust into 1/2" strips to make a lattice top. Cover fruit and brush lattice with milk and sprinkle with a little sugar.


5. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350° and continue cooking for 35 to 40 minutes more.
