cup brown sugar, packed

cup vegetable oil

cups bran

teaspoons vanilla extract

cups flour

teaspoons baking powder

cup saskatoons, fresh or frozen

 

Instructions

1. Measure yogurt into medium bowl and mix in baking soda. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl mix together sugar, eggs, and oil. Add bran and vanilla.

3. In a separate bowl, mix together flour and baking powder.

4. Gradually add the flour and yogurt mixtures alternately to the sugar mixture.

5. Fold in the saskatoons.

6. Spoon into muffin tins and bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.

Any fruit flavoured yogurt may be used.
