Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. Grease or line a 12 cup muffin pan. 3. Place the flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and spices in a bowl and mix well. 4. Toss in currants, rhubarb, and saskatoons. 5. In another bowl combine the brown sugar, butter and egg. 6. Mix in buttermilk. 7. Add the dry to the wet and mix until just moistened. 8. Divide and spoon the mixture into the muffin cups. 9. Sprinkle the tops with some more brown sugar. 10. Bake 20 to 23 minutes or until muffins spring back when touched lightly. Cool a few minutes then remove from pan.
