Summer Fruit & Saskatoon Jam

pounds sugar

8

ounces strawberries

3

tablespoons lemon juice

8

ounces red currants

8

ounces black currants

8

ounces saskatoons

8

ounces raspberries

 

Instructions

1. Remove currants from stalks. Wash and put currants and lemon juice into a large saucepan.

2. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until fruit is very soft.

3. Stir in raspberries and strawberries and cook for 3 minutes.

4. Add sugar and heat gently to dissolve sugar.

5. Bring to a boil and boil rapidly until setting point is reached.

6. Seal in sterilized jars and process.
